01Case study · Fashion & Lifestyle

Kalakriti by Paroma.

A custom Shopify store that moved an artisanal saree label from selling only through social media to a proper online shop. A brand-aligned theme, organised catalogue, secure payments and automated email campaigns make buying easier for customers and give the team one place to manage orders.

02Challenge

Kalakriti sold only through social media. Orders and customer messages were handled by hand, browsing and buying was cumbersome, and slow conversions meant missed sales.

03Insight

The products were already attracting attention on social media. What held sales back was the customer journey — slow, manual and cumbersome from enquiry to order.

04Strategy

Start from Kalakriti’s brand values and its customers’ needs, then design and launch a custom Shopify store, with taxes, shipping, payments and email follow-up set up around the way the business sells.

05Execution

  1. 01Defined the brand’s aesthetic and customised a Shopify theme around it
  2. 02Uploaded, edited and categorised the catalogue, and helped structure pricing
  3. 03Integrated a secure payment gateway, including international payment methods
  4. 04Configured regional and product-specific taxes, weight-based shipping ranges and paid finishing add-ons such as fall and pico
  5. 05Set up automated email campaigns to bring past customers back
